"I wake up, work harder, laugh deeper and
dream bigger than the day before.
That's what success is."
Logan Dunne
Nauset Regional High School, Class of 2012
Logan passed away on January 4, 2013;
his was a valiant journey which he made with no complaint.
In his 20 years, Logan managed to leave the world an enduring legacy
full of the same love, laughter and endless kindness
which marked each day of his life.
This scholarship was created in the winter of 2013,
just weeks after Logan's passing,
by John Simonian of Beanstock Coffee Roasters.
Since 2013, we have been honored and privileged
to support the dreams of outstanding local teenagers,
who carry some of Logan's spark into their futures.
Their challenges have ranged from life-threatening or debilitating medical conditions and diseases
to emotional and physical abuse,
extreme familial or financial hardships
to isolating social realities.

CCSC Team Co-Captains Schuyler O’Brien and Logan Dunne with Otis Moyer anticipating another sweet PMC ride
in 2009.
Graduating seniors and graduates of Nauset Regional High School
who have taken a gap year and are going on to a 4 year college
are eligible to apply. Past recipients are welcome to apply.
Preference is given to those students who,
like Logan, metaphorically transformed lead into gold.
Part of the application is to describe, in a reflective
one page essay or poem, their challenge and
which of Logan's qualities they share.
